Our 30th Year
20 Dec 20222022 will forever be remembered as the year of the horrific July 4th mass shooting. With that, we will always remember the lives lost, those who sustained physical and non-physical injuries, and how the shooting impacted our entire community. We will also always remember the bravery of the first responders and the City’s incredible leadership in the days, weeks, and months after the event; how neighbors looked out for and helped each other; the children’s lemonade stands and the jewelry beaded and sold; the donations we received from individuals and businesses near and far and the countless fundraisers that raised money to help victims, their families, and the organizations assisting our community. We will forever be grateful for the monetary and emotional support they provided to bring comfort and help to those most in need.
We will also always be grateful to live in a community where so many organizations stepped up to help children and adults who had been at the parade and others who needed support after the shooting.
