Apply For a Grant

First Time Applicants

The Highland Park Community Foundation provides Annual Grants to support existing as well as new and innovative programs and services provided by cultural, educational, and social service agencies serving the Highland Park/Highwood community.

If you are a new applicant or an organization that applied for but was not awarded an Annual Grant by the HPCF in the past three years, please submit a one-page letter of interest in applying for a grant, stating the need, the target population, and the cost of the program or service to be funded. The Board will not consider requests for endowments, capital projects, or fundraising events. Please note that in order to be considered, the target population served must be at least 51% Highland Park/Highwood residents. Please also provide a copy of the organization’s 501(c)(3) certification or information about the organization’s fiscal agency or governmental status if it is not a 501(c)(3); the name of the organization’s leader, Executive Director, or CEO; and contact information for the supervisor of the program(s) for which funding is sought.

Shortly after receipt of your letter, you will be notified if you qualify to submit a grant application.

Letters must be submitted by 5 PM Central time on May 31, 2024. Please send your letter of interest to info@hpcfil.org.
