Busy Fall
22 Oct 2026Fall is a busy and exciting time at HPCF as we prepare for one of the most important parts of our year — our annual grant awards. Following a thorough review of applications from nonprofits serving Highland Park and Highwood, our Board will award nearly 70 grants at the end of this month. This year’s applications underscore both the growing needs in our community and the extraordinary efforts of local organizations to meet them. Thanks to our generous donors, HPCF is proud to help make their work possible. We look forward to sharing more about this year’s grants and recipients soon.
There’s still time to order from Kim Smith’s annual Thanksgiving cookie sale! All proceeds support HPCF’s efforts to address community needs and expand opportunities for residents. Find ordering details below.
We’re also nearing the deadline for 2027 HPCF Golden Apple Award nominations. Help us recognize an outstanding high school teacher who makes a difference in the lives of Highland Park High School students. Learn more about the award and how to submit a nomination below.
Thank you for being part of HPCF and helping make Highland Park and Highwood stronger communities. Together, we’re making a real difference!
