The mission of Northern Suburban Special Recreation Association (NSSRA) is to enrich the lives of people with disabilities in its partner communities through quality recreation services. HPCF grant funding supports Enriched Lifestyles for Adults (ELA), a NSSRA year-round day program for individuals with disabilities who are 22 years of age and older. ELA focuses on independent living, continuing education, communication, recreation and leisure, and community integration. Weekly activities for participants include field trips in the community, fitness, cooking, shopping, arts and crafts, games, service projects, and more.
