Administrators, colleagues, parents, and students are invited to nominate outstanding teachers currently teaching at Highland Park High School. (Family members may not nominate; no self nominations.) Application materials will be mailed to each teacher nominated.
who is eligible for the award?
- Classroom teachers currently teaching in grades 9-12 and in at least their fifth year of teaching (completed 4 full years of teaching).
- Nominees who are committed to continue teaching in the Highland Park/Highwood communities for at least two years after receiving the award.
what does the award recipient receive?
- $2,000 cash award
- $500 Apple Gift Card
- Recognition by the Highland Park Community Foundation at an awards ceremony and by Township High School District 113
- A Golden Apple
